Sreemangl-is an upazila of Maulvibazar district in the division of sylhet,Bangladesh.
Geography-Sreemangal is located at 24,3083 oN 91.7333 oE. it has 43952 units of houre hold and total area 450.74km sremangal upazila (moulvibazar district)with an area 450.74kmis bounded by moulvibazar sadar upazila on the north tripura state (inda) on the south kamalganj upazila on the east chunarughat and bahubal upazilason the west .bilas river and hail haor are notable.
Sreemangal (town)consists of 9 ward and 20 mahallas.

History : Administration sreemangal than ,now an upazila was established in 1912, the upazila consists of one municipality (paurashhava), 12 union parishads,124 mouzas and 206 villages.historical events once sreemangl was a part of the trepura state ,the great earth quake of 1897 caused a massive change in the phy siography of the area.
